Tasting Notes:
Highland Park 1989 @ 50% alc.vol (US 100%
proof)
Smoky nose with some phenol. Palate is honeyed, silky and
sherryish with some peatiness. An assertive finish with
warming alcohol, late crisp oakiness and a tickle of smoke.
Vivacious with a very slow, long flavour development. Gets
up to speed at the very end. Fabulous.
